Finally put 2 halves together of good play and the score shows the results...1st win since game 1
1st half we used the Witch's brew to give their Piling on Mino jump Up (oops), but he only got to use it once, as we caught him on the ground and fouled him off the pitch (KO..did not return until late in the 2nd half). Campbell makes it in for the early lead at 1-0. On defense, things continued to go well, as we were able to get the ball away from them as they neared the EZ. Campbell again picked up the ball and started down field. However, there wasn't enough time for him to score, so he lobbed a short pass to Givens, who caught it and ran in for the 2-0 halftime lead.
2nd half, thee Tangueros were able to score, but the Skaven and Dark elf players were KO'd in the process--sitting out the next drive...but the Mino finally returned. After failing to pick up the ball, Campbell was able to get the ball and rush in for TD #3 before time ran out.
Campbell makes it to 16 SPP's and picks up break Tackle, while the niggled Givens picks up Wrestle.
On to game 7 vs Ogres...Glad I finally hired White, our 2nd Bull Centaur.
