“FUMBBL Cup XIV – Second Round

Nice matchup for my Flings. We were waiting for some CPOMBers or these humans, but their match was not played because of the Chaos coach missing (or terrified by Timmy).
We decided to retire our XFL trophy to buy Morg or Bertha+wiz. We finally decided to buy Morg, to blitz with MB every turn.

Humans chose to kick first. Karolan is here to catch the ball and then give it to Bajer, as usual. Things go well, some humans prefer to stay out of the pitch, but Cartman starts punching Flings. We find a breach to run closer from the endzone, but run out of Flings to protect Bajer well. Our 7th turn is not great but Bajer finally scores, pushed by a human. Humans have one turn to try to kill one of the st6's, but even the foul doesn't work as expected.

We start the 2nd half with only our ag5 fling in defense (not the ag4's). A blitz gives the opportunity to MSF to run to the ball, with a deep kick. He almost fails his first gfi so I don't want to try another gfi, but humans can easily blitz him 3D. MSF is KO, and humans pick up the ball.
Then both my trees take root and roll triple skull. Many failures stop me from putting some pressure on the BC to score fast, but Humans decide to do not stall (they thought they could kill more Flings! ahah).
It gives some turns for us to score. Karolan catches it with Kick Off Return and gives the ball to Bajer, once again. We try to build a cage at the center of the pitch, and were very very close to score turns 15 & 16, but a tree fails a 2+ dodge before trying to TTM. 1-1 before overtime

We receive the ball. Same strategy: Karolan catches it, gives it to Bajer, and cage built at the center. But despite a bug (Humans played their turn but the game disconnected and they had to play again - no real repercussion), there is a weakness in our cage: Humans are ballsy enough to try a -2D block on Morg, they push him to let a path for their AG4 strip-ball to blitz 1D Bajer. Pow. Karolan tries to save us with a 4+ pickup but fails even with a reroll. Game over.

Great match against a friendly coach. Much fun in this match. I've loved trying the FC with my Flings (it was the first time they entered the FC!), and it was a nice way to leave it. I hope Timmy will run far with his friends, good luck Humans! Good luck Nufflehatesme! And thanks for this epic match!
