“Overview

Third game! Managed to avoid a 3rd death. This was a very good game that easily could've went the other way or ended in a tie.


Highlights

The game starts with an exciting onside kick and blitz! A linerat is hurt in the initial rush and the goblin nearby in a panic fumbles the ball. The nearby rat thrower is able to recover the fumble before the apes can make their own go for the ball.

In the first proper turn of the game for the Jammers, Calamity Jade breaks the other linerats ribs.

Turn 3 for the Warp-stoner Bros sees them creating a gap in the center and making a break deep into the Jungle Jammer half. The apes realizing what happened move to re contain but are too late and Neo the Thrower manages to dodge away from the slow primates and score the first touchdown of the game.

The rest of the first half is fur, teeth, and blood on both sides as battlechimp potemkins manages to hide in a pack of the others and dart into the endzone to tie the game which leads to a small riot of fans that is suppressed by the local thugs/security.

The next half starts with a long drive that goes from one side of the pitch to the other. Just when the Jammers are within scoring range the Warp-Stoner Bros knock the ball loose into the crowd who throws it back in between both teams.

On turn five Kornell the Silverback and Fred Fungus Fur the Gorilla work together and manage to get the ball out of a goblins hands and back advancing up the field. A quick handover to Calamity Jade when the troll gets too close leads to the second touchdown for the Jungle Jammers. Giving them the lead at 2-1.

With the clock running out the Warp-Stoner Bros rush as many players down the field as they can looking for a last minute pass to tie the game. Unfortunately their troll the Dark Knight mucks things up at the last minutes delaying the play and ending the game.

Player of the Game

Calamity Jade the Bonobo both broke some rats and scored the winning touchdown so her request for additional tire swings and knives was approved.

Postgame
A good payout for a good game leads to the purchase of a new state of the art Chimp named Rhesus Pieces. My trainer assures me that his limbs are supposed to hang off like that. I am not so sure.
