Final game of the preseason and a close one at that. If both bull centaurs had been around for this game a loss would have been likely. The new chimp and new apo end up not getting along ending in the chimps death.


Highlights
At turn four the Bearded Beatdowns sideline cage is halted and a scrum ensues over the freed ball.

A turn and a surf and knockouts on both sides later Quiet the Bonobo picks up the dropped ball and retreats to deep midfield. The dwarfs are enjoying the squishing sound the apes make and are stuck too far away. Rhesus Pieces makes his only contributions this game making a successful pass and freeing up the ball carrier.

Any chance of a last minute score before the half for the Bearded Beatdowns is squashed by a pitch invasion of rabies infected Jammer fans.

The next half starts out rough for the Jungle Jammers offence as Kornell the Silverback gets himself stunned and the team was already down to only 8 players to the Bearded Beatdowns 11. Mutton Chops does his best to pressure the apes as the rest of the dwarf team struggles with the speed difference. The numbers prove too much however and the Bearded Beatdowns manage to pin the Jammers in another scrum.

Deadland Dali decides that Rhesus needs to stay in pieces and our apo didn’t realize that the blood needs to be on the inside. RIP. Another turn of clever plays gives the Chaos Dwarfs the ball and Mutton Chops the Bull Centaur gets the ball and starts to sprint up the field.

At the last second Battlechimp Potemkin avenges his chimp brethren and brings down the bull centaur preventing the tie touchdown.


Player of the Game

Calamity Jade proves her worth again this season becoming my player of both the game and the preseason. With two touchdowns, a completion, and one casualty, for a Bonobo I hope to see her stick around a while.

Postgame/Preseason

A decent paycheck for the game but I am still short cash to replace the 3 deaths this preseason. It's going to be an interesting season”
