Thankfully the ref didn't refuse a little bribe and Ugroth was welcome on the pitch again. Hope was still intact: the orcs had plenty of time to react...
But the public probably didn't appreciate the bribing (somehow): they invaded the pitch on the kick and knocked down more than half of the team before security drove them out...
meanwhile: the elves started running again, and damn ! They were fast !
That's when hope went away. With a sure loss at sight, the parisians opened up the "punch box" with good success. Out of breath, the elves started slowing down, sliding here and there while Yanber was handling the ball to Varag who went for the touch line right before the second half.
Orcs were surprise surprise to find that few elves on the pitch after that: the fragile creatures hadn't recovered yet ! And despite some brave attempts to get the ball back they couldn't prevent twice as many orcs to score a second try.
They didn't give up though: with their speed they could still hope for a tie, and their fastest runners lined up for the last drive. But the public had changed side by then, which they notify by throwing rocks on the right head, giving the elves one more handicap to succeed with a OTTD, which they didn't.
The Orcs found that first game very exciting... and, though surprised by the never-seen-before playstyle of their opponent, saluted their bravery (that was after comitting a couple of fouls the friendly ref didn't spot).”
