If this was just about fighting, the orcs wouldn't even give a thought. But there was a ball involved and some complicated rules-that-give-headaches sothey had to watch out.
That third team they would be facing ressembled very much the first two: they were fast and fragile. But they sounded and smelt familiar: they were french speaking humans, those who "walk above" as the Parisians Orcs usually call them.
The first contact gave advantage to the Orcs. The humans retreated, they got cornered and pushed back, giving an occasion for the orcs to score despite having kicked. The attempt didn't succeed: the humans git the ball and, counter-attacking using their speed, they approached the Orcs TD-line when an unexpected lighting stroke the ball carrier, immediately followed by a whistle. Unlcky ! (although some suspect sorcery might have been involved)
The Orcs received the kick in the second half. Ugroth was on the pitch that time and started playing is magical instrument. But the kick was a long one and the team got spread out somehow, with their opponent sliding here and there through the defensive holes. The orcs managed to gather but time was running away and, passing the ball (rare enough to be noticed) they trusted on their speed to score... stupid idea. Humans was faster and doging like crazy. They prevented the try and counter-attacked again, with the Orcs doing what they had to in defense a third half became necessary.
Now two major events happened:
1- the orcs got to receive the ball
2- the humans gave a looong kick, with the hope of slowing down the Orcs progression... but the ball went off the pitch.
At that point, a voice could be heard from both side of the stadium: "Gme Ze Stoff".
That was Varag: expressing his way to carry the ball. The humans stood, then lied. Game was over despite their total commitment. Toughest opponents ever, so far.”
