This was a match of mayhem, filled with fouls and merciless pounding. One from each side was expelled from the game - the Star Player of the Playboys, Ramtut III, and Sture Stormfist of the Firebolts. The Playboys kept pounding on the ranks of the Norsemen, but they stood firm (well, most of the time they were actually not really STANDING per se) and kept focused on the ball.

The first touchdown was scored by Vidar the Vain, who later on got seriously injured. His broken jaw will prevent him from taking part to the next game, but he should be fine for the rest of the season.

In the beginning of the second half, as the fierce Grrwharak Grimface lay knocked out in the dugout of the 'bolts, Growling Geeber the werewolf scored a TD for the Playboys, evening the score to 1-1. At this point, the number of injured and knocked out players of the Firebolts had grown, but they were not discouraged, and soon Vindalf the Venomous, the only blitzer left standing, followed his older brother's example, and scored another TD by ramming himself right through the desperate werewolf standing in defense.

The rest of the game mostly included some beatings, but with only one fast-moving werewolf on the field and so little time left, the necromantic team didn't have much of a chance to score. The ball was fumbled by the zombie lineman while attempting to pick it up, which pretty much sealed the victory of the Frostheim Firebolts.

All in all, it was a very violent game, but the strategy of simply beating down the lines of the Norsemen in order to get a chance to score did not work, and careless fouling cost the Playboys their Star Player very early in the game, which probably was one of the reasons why there were no truly heavy casualties.
