“Luck played a big part of this game. But not in that annoying curse-the-dice way, but in a fun way. First half, the dice god smiled at me big time. Chamba wasn't able to complete a pass, block or dodge. Nothing. I got Blitz, scored my first and thought that this would be a field day for the rats.

Got greedy and didn't score 3-0 when i could have at the end of first half. Chamba, with no rerolls left, manages to pull of a really far fetched move with lots of dodges and lucky rolls. Knocks me down, gets the ball and manages to prevent my TD.

Second half. Luck has changed. He gets the Blitz, the KO's, the devestating Pitch invasion that leaves me with 3 standing players. I can just stand by and watch as he scores 2-1.

Got some players back, one-turner standing ready on the LoS, both his WDs knocked by the heat. Looking good. Fumbles the pick up. Doh!

Last turn, last chance. His catcher is surrounded by 4 rats. I have the lead. No rerolls on either side. The elf takes a deep breath and runs through the TZs and scores. Sloppy but funny game.”
