“This was just one of those games where I spent the entire game scratching my head and wondering what in blue blazes is going on? True, the second half was relatively close, with him outscoring me 3-2, and that could've gone 3-2 my score. But the first half was where the damage occurred; I could do no right at all, dodging, throwing, picking up the ball... He very oh-so-quickly gained a 4-0 lead after the first half of play. A lot of his play came from domino-blocks, blocking one player into another, who has nowhere to go but into another, and so on, sprining his normal gutter runners into one-turn wonders by bumping them forward a couple steps. And he did it time after time, it was unreal.
What also was unreal was the enormous crowd, easily the largest I've ever had in a game. Great winnings and increased ff all around resulted, with no injuries to either side (that the apo couldn't fix) which was good. But two and a half hours to play a single match... Well thought out moves are what caused the score to be so lopsided, and really I didn't notice the time passing until the last 4 turns or so, which dragged.
Entertaining, educational, completely embarrassing and hopefully never to be repeated!”
