“Not an overly fun match.

The first half went all in all OK for me but far from spectacular. He scored fast and I equalised in the dying moments of the match.

Apparently reason enough for my opponent to moan about him being unlucky. I still don't know why. In the first half I scored. Granted. But also he Ko'd two of my players including my Minotaur who did not return after his td, not in the second half. My KO beast did not show up initially either but recovered for the second half.

In the second half my AG4 Warrior needed 1 more spp for a skill. My attempt at a completion failed twice. (wasting 2 RR in the process) What was worse; the second time the ball scattered to a skill-less beast whom caught it but he was supposed to be the outside of the cage.

A turn or so later I picked up the ball with mentioned AG4 warrior despite the ball being in the TZ of his tree (whom had not taken root btw) but failed dodging away. (a 1, indeed) the ball scattered to the single square where it had to TZ of one of my players.

He picked it up easily and ran away with his catcher.

Only to stall 4 turns. (oi?)

Well; I did the obvious thing; I fouled the living daylights out of him. I even fouled in the 8th turn. I still feel he deserved that.

Nuffle figured otherwise; not even a single KO result, let alone better.

Ah well; better luck next time.
