“Season 12 NWC Playoffs Round 1 (wildcard game)

Knew it would be rough going in with 400k in inducements...plus he has 3 players with + STR and plenty of guard. Ended up about like I expected, though a little high in the MNG department.

1st half I get the ball. Knowing that I don't have much of a chance I try a desperation play..passing the ball (6+). It get's there, but I fail the 4+ catch. oh, well. Oh, and Nobbla is Thrown out of the game on his 1st and only foul. Fireball fails to knock his BC down, but I still get to him. Then Matthews falls (apoth saves a -AV). With very little falling the Raiders way, the Sharks easily score on turn 8 to take a halftime lead...with 3 of my players (plus Nobbla) out of the game (all three SI'd) Two were hobgoblins (with Wrestle).

2nd half is more of the same, though I do get Whale out for my only casualty. Campbell is BH at some point (wow, 1st injury of the night that wasn't an SI), then Curly is saved from an SI (-av) by the apothecary (only inducement that really worked). Still, underdwarved we had little chance of getting to their BC, thus the 2-0 score.

White shoes completes a quick pass to one of the Blockers for the SPP on the last turn.

War'n gets Dirty Player (should retire him with the -mv). Hire Pastor Inni so I have 11 real players next game :)
