“XFL X undead round one

was a standard game, though I was on the wrong end of the luck after the 1st half. BUt it was RUINED by bad sportmanship (on both parties, as I reacted badly). I Play bash teams (dwarves, undead, chaos)..so I know stalling and it is a GREAT tactic. But when you are 1) in a Tournament, 2) in SUDDEN DEATH OT and 3) can score and WIN THE GAME..you do it, you don't spend several turns blocking just because. Now, I reacted badly to the stalling, but I don't really take any of it back, as I think it was a crap tactic to use--especially when I'd had a really bad game after the 1st half.

1st half somehow we managed to get a TD on turn 8, managing to KO several key players along the way..and one mummy didn't come back! Yay, I'm up 11 to 10 at the start of the half

2nd half things start to go sideways for me. Fumbbled pass, players leaving the pitch at a great rate (for both teams really, though more of mine were to Casualties). Then in one turn, I got a ghoul niggled, and Zach killed ON A -2db no less. From there things just seemed to get worse, and they scored on turn 8

OT due to my reserves and non-recovering KO's, I was up 10 to 7...but it didn't matter as my luck continued to go south. NOTHING I did worked..really feeling the loss of a Tackler (though no opponent of mine ever seems to need tackle against me), as I could not take down his BC. Then the STUPID, BAD SPORTSMAN Stall. Still pisses me off that he blocked for 2 turns before scoring when I had NO ONE that could have even gotten close. One top of the bad game, that was just pure and simple a dick head move.

Of COURSE Zach got the MVP...what a waste of an afternoon. If this keeps up, my Dwarves are likely to lose to the Halflings in tomorrows Warpstone Open game...sigh.
