The fans mobbed the Guardians at kick off, leaving many stunned, but the pitch invasion seemed to suck the Patriot Guard in and dwarf pressure forced an early score.

The deathroller took to the pitch for the defense, but it spent most of its time preoccupied trying to steamroll Loyus Godcrusher - perhaps after the slayer had smashed Chip Houston's hip. That allowed Harle to be at the centre of the maul as Pitcutter did his usual job of running fast and scoring.

He picked up where he left off in the second half, although a tactical affair meant the touchdown eventually came a little earlier than planned for. The surprised Patriot Guard players didn't take advantage, as poor Coach Tuomaa witnessed the opening block knock down his blocker (quad skull!) effectively ending the game as a contest.
