The humans scored early in the first half, which I took to be a tactical error on their behalf. Then they really started knocking the lizards around. We were able to even the score before the close of the first half, but just barely. The second half was about attempting to position the ball safely away from their blitzers while trying to keep team on the field. We stalled for as long as we could before being pushed into the endzone on a blitz, which I still say was the proper move. A very good kick placed the deep into their side of the pitch, as they sent forward as many players as possible. But it was a misclick blitz which ended their drive and the match. We were lucky to escape with the win, as had this gone into overtime I doubt we could have won.”
