“O my - quite the game.

One that seemed to go and on forever. It didn't start out too well for the elves, double skulling twice on offence in the first couple of turns but I scored in 8 and then the sweltering heat robbed Carloz of half of team and a rock injured a mummy. It looked game over. Especially when he then quad downed with the ballcarrier already surrounded. A bonkers couple of turns later and Carloz had equalised.

Again heat robbed Carloz of his better men and I had half a half to win the game (again) - and with dodging elves agogo, I won the game with a T15 score. Well unless we had a riot or a one-turner. Riot - okay, only six undead - probably not going to equalise, especially with only two in range and can flood both. Multi dodging ghoul later and a handoff play later and it was 2-2. Going to OT.

STILL worse rolls for Carloz then myself on the heat (he was to be without both mummies now), and with my having the ball, surely it was game, set and match? Well not quite - the ball was spilled a couple of times but thankfully the elves fell over the line for the 3-2 winner.

Phew - thanks for the game, Carloz. Epic entertainment and I look forward to the next encounter.
