The wood elves started off strong with an early knockout and impeccable positioning, but it all went south when a failed pass went awry because of a distracted elf checking out the lovely skeleton cheerleaders... At that moment, every single un-dead monster dove onto the ball until it was secured, and made a slow and grueling march to the other side of the field where they easily walked it in to end the 1st half.
The second half was a fresh start! Sure the elves had to kick it off, but those pile of bones could just as easily spend half the match trying to pick it up with their cold clumsy arms. As luck would have it, the kick was shallow. Literally right behind the line of scrimmage, it was all set up perfectly, but those sneaky skeletons picked it up on their first try! This wasn't supposed to happen! After securing the ball, the skeletons put their old tactic back to use. Making a literal ball of bones, they bashed their way all the way to the endzone. No elf was safe, nor left standing. All elves were piled into the ground and they were marched over and fouled upon.
The score ended 2-0, fortunately, only an elven lineman was seriously injured. They shall fight another day, hopefully learning to hold onto the ball, just a wee bit tighter next time.
Cheers, mate.”
