“First game back for the Tools in 3 years, 8 months, and 26 days and nuffle picked up right where he left off. My opponent called the game as over when he failed a block with his Ogre on T1 after the Tools got a perfect defense. We were able to steal the ball and score, but couldn't drag it out long enough to prevent the counter score. Granted, most of the Tools forgot their armor and the Box Heroes were packing brass knuckles all game but we should have been able to stop the score in the 1st half. Sadly, nuffle stole all of our rerolls early in the half and we just couldn't catch a break. Then in the 2nd half the heat kept out one of the humans and evened the numbers up nicely - 8 v 8. We knocked the entire LOS down and secured the ball but couldn't knock the catcher down. Then everything unravelled. POWs and Armor Breaks started raining down on us and there was nothing we could do but watch and simmer. Yeah, we'll be putting this game in the Book of Grudges for sure. All humans are now on the Tools' Grudge Account and we will collect with interest.
