“Lucan was missing this match but the Wrestlers were finally back up to 5 Ogres on the roster. It started well for the Wrestlers. We couldn't damage the Deathroller when bringing it down but the Dwarfs strong Trollslayer Ironface made an ill advised block on Haystacks and was badly hurt while Bulldog then injured a Longbeard. After that the Dwarfs started to take over, while the Ogres went dumb, but at least didn't take many snots off the pitch. But before their stall and score they were getting stronger as they ko'd Bulldog and Big Daddy had to be saved from injury by the apo.
Hulk Hogan's mate did a beautiful TTM in T8, just sneaking past the Dwarfs at the endzone.
At the start of the 2nd half it was all to play for, and the Deathroller was now banned. The Dwarfs blitzed! A snot was cas'd and a Blitzer dashed through and caught the kickoff. Amazing start. Jim Breaks blitzed the Dwarf down but HHM fumbled the ball (with rr). Another snot caught it but we were well out of shape and he was soon ko'd. After that there was a succession of trip ups and dumb ogres as we crumbled. Hulk Hogan's Mate then tripped up (again with rr) and broke his neck! The stat-up snot quartet is finally broken up as he has to be retired. Cruel indeed. After that Jim Breaks was injured while Giant Haystacks did get a chance to save the game. He dodged, blitzed and cas'd the Blitzer with the ball near our endzone. Haystacks was then taken down by 3 Dwarfs. Les came up in support and we needed Haystacks back up to keep that ball down. But no he went dumb again. The Dwarfs then just had time to pick up and win the match. We had a last TTM attempt but Jake the Snake tripped up before being able to handoff. Fun game but a bit of a 2nd half horror show.
