From the kickoff a fan ko'd one of our linos. A Nurgle Warrior ko'd another and then in a clash of heads another was taken out! Quite a start. We charged men forward but the Nurgle back fielder picked up the ball. Larrus was then badly hurt by failing to dodge from a warrior. A poor effort. Paulus was then injured, but the apo turned the injury into death, and he was sadly raised as a rotter! The match was still early but we were being massacred. But we kept up the attack and Gotwinus managed to ko their ball carrier Liller. The beasts regained it again but a brave blitz from Jesiah, followed by a catch and dodge put it back in our possession! Could we hold out for the half? But no he was brought down. There was little time left but 2 Pestigors combined to pick up and pull off a passing move (without rr) right at the end of the half. A cruel session indeed.
But it got worse. We were outnumbered but Zebedee and co were trying their best to keep the ball moving advance. But when Malbert fell and the cage was left open Zebedee was taken down. The Nurgle scum then took the ball for a 2-0. But the worst was that Gotwinus was struck down hard by the Beast and fell down dead! That despite his supposed Magic Belt. Our greatest player felled and with 2 skilled Blitzers taken it was a dark day indeed. Gotwinus was then awarded MVP..

Nuffle wasn't smiling kindly on us today but the Plebeians will return!
