“It was the kick-off of the Storm Giants' career and the game turned out
to be a real casualty-fest. Surprisingly, the Giants dished out as well,
if not better, than they received.
Axelrod Blitzenheimer scored twice as the Storm Giants defeated
the scary undead of Twilight Storm. The Storm's flesh golem took
an early shower and Stirland took advantage of the
decreased bashing.
Unfortunately, Phinneas Fogbuster had his collarbone cracked and
as a result, has become one of the wimpiest players in the league.
Phinneas will take a game off and I'm sure he hopes to make his
way back on to the roster.

Casualties galore! Coach Snorri has yet to realise the usual skaven tactics dont work on anything but skaven! Certainly having your lads fall into procession on the way to the blood bin early in the game and knowing the opponent will get sloppy and overestimate your six lads on the field just doesn't work with a shambling crew - literally!
Nevertheless, at 2 apiece it had been a worthy game, but alas, overwhelming attrition saw to the match winning try by a feisty human outfit.
Rather amusing to see Phinneas Fogbust became an overnight celebrity - wimpier than a gobbo and still as keen as mustard for the BB! Famous or infamous? We will see!”
