The first half was fun, tight and seemingly even. though we both noticed that the pixels i lost were to Ko and azures were not coming back. but he had a deep bench, and me nothing, and when my desperate attempt to block the td (after failing a wiz induced ball grab manouver to a failed gfi) meant it was 1-0 the chatter was mainly of my several double skulls and need for the Ko dice to be kind.

But then I had the 16 turn, a dead kick off, and Ko'd two chaos, and all his failed while I got half back and the second half started with me on top with numbers. It was odd.

And then it got worse. Bubba my str6 BOB went crazy, smashing 4 cas. Azure huddled and let the ball through, but still kept losing chaos.

He briefly had hope with a riot in turn 16 at 1-1 but the needed dodge dice never came and we faced overtime with me massive favorite and ball in hand.

And despite my terrible overtime play, that was that.

Azure, with 2 claws did no cas, and slowly the game turned from competitive to casalanche. He was a gent throughout, next time lets hope we get a more competitive luck spread.”
