“I don’t know what it is about our matches, but CroixFer has each time gotten the raw end of the dice. Three times we’ve met (once in a Smack, once in the Black Cup, and now a Brawl) and all three have gone to OT. The dice counter tells a lot of the story for this one: 64 blocks by the Nurgle, most with MB, and only three casualties (one successfully apothecaried). That meant almost a full team of elves on the field at all times, never good for the other side. On top of that, Jarboe was in rare form, notching KOs and casualties left and right; she had as many casualties in 17 blocks as the entire team of Nurgle managed all game. And yet, the elves, out-positioned by CroixFer’s excellent coaching in OT, needed a lucky break to win it: Phishi II tripped on a GFI, losing the ball and stunning himself far from the rest of the melee. Elves recovered and made the many dodges, handoff, and pass without a hitch to bring home the Brawl trophy.

Honestly, we have a huge karmic debt to pay after our first three meetings: I’m a little scared for our next game :D
