Elfs couldn't contain the Woodies' dodgy mobility nor get any of them off the pitch. Woodies KO'd Eldril Turn 6 or so and he stayed out the rest of the way. Ill-conceived extraneous Elfish blocks on Turn 8 resulted in Skulls with no rr, and we lost an opportunity to score with what might have been a dodge/rr, pickup, and catch/rr, though the 1/1 would have shown up somewhere I suppose. Live and never learn. Was a 2-goal decision as the Woodies seized the moment and reversed to score with no rr's. Turn 9 we got a Blitz but with the ball landing tight to the goal-line it could not be secured, and the bounce was to Woodie territory. Turn 4 sideline cage was crackable but our Blitzer failed the 75% dodge for what would have been a 1d hit vs Dolfar. Late-game the tying drive got nowhere as all Elf dodges were 1s. Final desperate attempt to tie saw our Catcher trip on the goal line for a BH before the throw could be attempted.
