“At the start of the game the very greedy Happenstance and Circumstance coach spent bucketfuls of money on inducements (should I have got less magic items and dirty tricks and more players? maybe a chainsaw and a bunch of bribes?

3 magic items, 2 dirty tricks and the mighty Zug later he was a very happy coach.

Eager to try out all the goodies, Zug took to the field and Plan B donned the magic gloves of holding.

The ref blew his whistle, Muateall III kicked the ball just behind the line of scrimmage and the game was on. the (un)mighty Zug started proceedings and was probably wondering why he'd come out of retirement as the elf he was blocking left him lying on the floor seeing stars. Counter attacking the elves knocked out several humans and got their first touchdown of the game.

After the restart, the coach admonished the Howitzer for not being able to play. Happenstance and Circumstance responded with their patented Harry 'The Bomb' bomb to Bolt who bolted into the endzone for 2 turn td score.

2tds in and 3 turns left on the clock in the first half Happenstance and Circumstance kicked to High And Mighty Low, and then blitzed. Unfortunately due to the defensive setup it wasn't the greatest of blitz but it did make the drive difficult for High And Mighty Low although they did go in at half time 2-1 ahead.

Happenstance and Circumstance kicked to High And Mighty Low at the start of the second half and a grueling drive took place, the elves finally scoring in their turn 5 although they did suffer injuries to a number of key players and Ungnian was unfavourably reduced to AV6 though a serious concussion and compared to a halfling.

The drive also saw Plan B use up the Gloves of Jark Longarm, just in case a late pass was forced for the final td (which it wasn't).

After the restart, the coach once again admonished the Howitzer for not being able to play and once again Happenstance and Circumstance scored with the patented Harry 'The Bomb' bomb to Bolt who bolted into the endzone for 2 turn td score.

now into the final 2 turns of the game and with the elves lacking numbers Happenstance and Circumstance chased the game equalising 3rd score but it was not to be as High And Mighty Low emulated the glory days of Arsenal FC and ran the ball into their own corner to hold it there as the clock ran down.
