“Lustrian Challenge X Group 2 Round 2:
Tough loss for us. We did not have high expectations going in, but our team did an excellent job of removing opposing players from the pitch. We used our wizard right before our opponents T8 of the first half. The ball was stuck in the corner and we gave ourselves an opportunity to dodge and blitz the catcher who could most easily score. We tripped on the dodge, giving him an easy score.
We were hitting hard to start the second half. Managing to score around T4, with only 6 elves left on the pitch (one being a tree). Things were looking optimistic.
We managed to corner the elf Catcher, wrestle him to the ground, the ball squirted out into the crowd that threw it in right next to our wight in perfect position to scoop it up and run off for the game winning TD... Except he couldn't pick-up the ball.
The elves managed to scoop and pass it deep. While it was an inaccurate long pass, it made our lives more difficult. We missed the 4+ pickup (with RR) and even worse, the ball bounced directly into the hands of the elf catcher, walking in for an easy game-winning TD.
Going from what looked like a sure win to a sure loss what heartbreaking. After managing to force a draw in round 1 in a game we nearly lost, we were hoping to sneak away with a win here.”

After a good start We were more men and try to stall it to turn 8. The wiz was logical at end of first half, but the ball scatterd nearly unreachable for the undead. So I get a8turn TD. And 11 men ...
After a few blocks there was only 6 and a safely TD for the Undead. With 6 men left it is nearly impossible to defend all blitz possibilitied against the ball carrier. A throw in and a miss by a wight, a inaccurate pass deep in undead half happens. Again a missed pick up and a perfect scatter to a WE catcher gave me a easy TD in turn 6. Our kicker was still alive and with a perfect kick and again a missed pickup, WE could defend the flattering win.
A lot of cas against us in second half but a lot of luck with ball handling for the WE. Sometimes luck smiles on u. Today on me definitely...
