I went into the game thinking of the butt-reaming I was going to get from skilled Dwarves against unskilled Elves. First turn turns up a Blitz. Ok, not bad...

Get myself going, but his first turn produces a KO and 2 stuns. I wasn't able to get at the ball, which turned out to be a potential problem.

T3/T4 - we're all standing together in a scrum in the middle of the pitch. This isn't where Elves want to be. After a bit of struggling and tinkering, Garcia popped the ball out on a 1d blitz, and the Elves were off to the races.

It didn't get an easier or more favorable (dice-wise) for Valen. A few more scores put up, as well as constant (Sure Hands) pick-up failures by Illinois, and it turned into a rout.

After that first turn, there was extremely little armor breaking (or anything really positive, dice-wise) for Valen. He just couldn't ever get going, which wasn't his faut.

Still, Valen took it in stride, and played a fair match, as best as he could. I applaud and salute him for taking such a dicing and not blowing a gasket about it, as I probably would.
