“NCBB Season 14 game 3 (start of Conference play)

Karak decides to try their luck with a Deathroller once again, probably due to the strong Florida team they were to face in game 3.

1st half the Techies march down the pitch and score 1st on turn 5. Jon Deer, the new DR did his job well in this drive, as he drew attention to himself and that allowed Long Legs to scamper pretty much untouched into the EZ. The ref was bribed to let Jon continue to play and Coach Xeterog instructed his players to just 'Keep them out of the EZ before the half'. Unfortunately, this was broadcast to everyone in the stadium and the fans were NOT happy...invading the pitch from the Karak EZ..6 dwarves and one Orc were stunned by the crowds. This gave the Seminoles a relatively quick score before the half.

2nd half was a back and forth affair. The orcs failed to pick up the ball and Flash, true to his name, rushed in and got the ball. But he wasn't able to get far enough away and was felled by Ray Lewis--living up to his nick "tackle Machine". Still, most of the Redface Seminoles were out of position and the dwarves of Karak University felt confident...until flash was not able to pick up the ball!! That is when Walter Payton dashed in, picked up the ball (in 2 TZ's) and passed it to a waiting Marshawn Lynch--who had just pushed a Dwarven blocker into the crowd (forgot who that was...an apothecary saved him a -ST and retirement). No other player was even close to Marshawn and he waltzed in for the winning score on turn 8.
