“The Dawgs came out strong the first half, slapping dwarves around, and racking up a touchdown. The members of the Black Anvils started getting things in gear after that, but the elves still skipped in and set loose the ball. IT was only through a complete BS play, which included a foul, that we were able to tie the match to close the first half. Second half we dwarves kept it cool, advancing slowly, setting up as many obstacles in the way as we could. Again, the dawgs managed to set the ball loose, but we recovered, and slipped in the go ahead touchdown. With one shot left the elves jumped off of the line, dashed down the pitch, and nearly made it into the endzone. It was that last dodge which failed.

Brutal Nuffle-influenced match, which rightfully should have ended in a tie. Props to Valen for his composure when everything turned belly up. See you second half of the season.”
