#2 Nightlord Kratskittar – Gouged Eye (MNG)
The Clan Rat delivering the news that a mysterious silver tower has appeared outside their hold had just left their office when a tiny magical creature appears before Nightlords Throiskikkcin and Kratskittar. Blades flash but before blood is spilled they realize that the creature brings an offer of a Blood Bowl Match, to be played one night hence in the Clan Eshin’s own Infinity Pit. Never ones to back down from a challenge the two Nightlords agree and the magical familiar disappears with promises to return. The two Nightlords quickly get to work devising strategies, though they find this to be difficult as so little is known about the mysterious Tzeentch squad.

The night of the match arrives and the Nightlords are dismayed that the massive Cabal Vision lights and cameras are shining down on a sea of magical familiars, 11,000 to be exact, dwarfing the small 6,000 skaven crowd. “So much for home field advantage…” Kratskittar jokes with a growl to Throiskikkcin as the pair take the pitch to receive the kick.

The Coven Warriors rightfully fearful of the vile Eshin blades order their expendable Familiars to the line of scrimmage. The kickoff is booted to the center of the pitch and to the delight of the frenzied fans the match is on! The cheers from the crowd seem to boost the morale of both teams until the flashing blade of Nightlord Throiskikkcin severs the arm of the magical creature Voonith which will force the Familiar to the bench for the remainder of the match. Not to be outdone Nightlord Kratskittar plunges his dagger into A Formless Thing, forcing him to join his brethren on the bench. Nightmaster Nurgrin scoops up the ball and the Lords of the Silent Death go to work. The mystical Tzeentch Warriors immediately close in on the Skaven, relying on their superior strength and armor to keep them safe. Through the many-armed defense of the Tzeentch the sly Eshin spy an opening and with a few blocks to clear the path NM Nurgrin shovels the ball to NM Gnawnagar who sprints clear of the mighty blueskin squad. Determined to keep his brother safe Nightlord Kratskittar takes on the mighty Do Galad, the Herald, in a fierce one-on-one battle. To the delight of the crowd the fight ends with both players headed to the turf but as the pair tumbled one of the Herald’s many arms sneaks past the Nightlord’s defense, gouging his eye severely and forcing him to the bench with an injury that will likely force him out of the next match as well. With the smell of the Nightlords blood still in the air NM Gnawnagar loses his focus for a moment and is powerless to overcome the hideous appearance of Zathogghua the Familiar. Unable to bring himself to touch the creature Gnawnagar dodges away and scores the opening salvo of the match.

Lords of the Silent Death 1 – Coven of the Mirrored Hall 0

On the ensuing kickoff the Coven handle the ball well and set up their offense at mid-field, eager to score in the dwindling moments of the first half. The LSD are able to isolate the Tzeentch Warrior M’zart, the Unbound Flame, and with a swift boot from the Clan Rat Burhakk the Ghost the mighty Warrior is forced to the bench. Unfortunately for the Eshin the sharp-eyed ref spies the nasty foul and bans Burhakk for the rest of the match. Perhaps the nickname “the Ghost” is meant to be ironic. The swarming Eshin defense are able to do just enough to hold off the Coven and the half comes to a close with the LSD up by 1.

Lords of the Silent Death 1 – Coven of the Mirrored Hall 0

The second half has the Coven of the Mirrored Hall receiving the kick and all goes well until an errant pass from Do Galad, the Herald, finds its way into the hands of the wrong Tzaangor. The Eshin using all the tricks at their disposal make quick work of the ball handler and Nightmaster Arrdrak comes free with the ball heading the opposite direction. Tied up in the scrum of blue and furry bodies in the middle of the pitch, the Tzeentch are unable to stop the agile Nightmaster who sprints for the endzone at his first opportunity.

Lords of the Silent Death 2 – Coven of the Mirrored Hall 0

With both teams feeling the rigors of the match the kickoff is greeted by a pair of 8 man squads. The wily Eshin, capitalizing on the situation, steal the playbook of the Coven and are able to call the perfect defense for what the Tzeentch have planned. The ensuing confusion results in poor ball handling by the Coven and after a vicious scrum that lasts serval turns, NM Arrdrak is able to slip away with the ball, eventually scoring his second touchdown of the match.

Lords of the Silent Death 3 – Coven of the Mirrored Hall 0

With the LSD firmly in control the rest of the match goes with little fanfare aside from a brutal block from Nightlord Throiskikkcin that leaves the Familiar Zathogghua badly hurt. The Coven attempt one last valiant attempt at reaching the endzone but are just not fast enough. The LSD try one more long scoring effort but are stymied by a miraculous interception into the big hand of the Tzaangor Turakal as the gong sounds signaling the end of the match.

*Coaches Note: Well played Coach AutoAxpert, the dice were in my favor this match. Good luck this Season!

#11 Voonith – Fractured Arm (MNG)
IT'S THE CABALVISION GAME DAY SHOW!

JIM: 'Good afternoon and welcome back to our studios!I'm your host, Jim Johnson, and joining me in the studio are my fellow commentator Bob Bifford and game analyst Huayna "Toady" Kopec. How are you doing, guys?'
BOB: 'Hi, Jim. Always a pleasure.'
TOADY: 'Good afternoon to you.'

JIM: 'So, in the night there was a CIBBL preseason match in the Far East. Facing off were the skavens from the Eshin clan of the Lords of Silent Death and the Tzeentch worshippers of the Coven of the Mirrored Hall. It wasn't a very balanced game, though, am I right, Bob?'
BOB: 'No, Jim. The Coven had another poor showing tonight, being outpaced by the diminutive skavens without being able to do any real damage. The game ended 3-0 and the Tzeentch guys never looked quite in the game. It wasn't a pretty spectacle for the 11000 familiars that went to the game, that's sure.'
JIM: 'Well, the Coven at least knows how to turn an away game into an home game. Toady, can you tell us what you think is the key factor that brought this defeat?'
TOADY: 'Well Jim, I think the key factor today was the inability of the Coven to impose their physical superiority on their opponents. The key factor against an agile and fast team like the Eshins is to obtain superior numbers on the field and getting their key players out of the pitch. They weren't able to do that, and the Skavens were perfect capitalizing on their mistakes. The ball handling of the Coven was adequate, but they had to be perfect to make this game close, and they were never really even close to perfection'
BOB: 'Hey Toady, what do three Slann linemen do on the line of scrimmage?'
TOADY: 'I have no idea. What do they do?'
BOB: 'They all croak.'
TOADY: '...'
BOB: 'Hehehhehehehehehheh'

JIM: 'We're now going on the pitch to our correspondant, Belarielle. Beautiful as usual, Bel.'
BEL: 'And you're gallant as usual, Jim. The big story of today's game is coach AutoAxpert meltdown towards the end of the game. As the match approached is final moments, many witnesses reported to have clearly heard the young manager of the Coven screaming Khornate warcries, such as 'Rip their throats', 'I want their skulls' and 'Kill them all'. When confronted about what happened, AutoAxpert refused to answer, beggining a profanity-filled tirade against the Gutter core of the opponent.'
BOB: 'Uh, someboy's a sore loser'
JIM: 'Thanks Bel. Well, it seems that an interesting season looms on coach AutoAxpert and his team. Stay tuned for more CIBBL coverage after these messages.'
TOADY: 'Hey Bob, what does an ogre do at the goal line?'
BOB: 'Watch it, you frog, that's a sensitive...'
TOADY: 'He just stays there, trying to remember what to do.'

Commercial break starts as Bob tramples violently his desk and assaults Kopec.
