Bored Supercomputer fires up it's programs and sends out it's creations for the first time in six years. Facing some small elves, we also faced a lot of inducement nasties. Always fun to see Morg on the pitch!
There were moments when I was sure I was losing. In first half when the elves stole the ball after they had already made 0-1 (though the wizard missed!) I thought I was done for. All I could do was force a double dodge or a leap. It turned out to be enough! A crashed leap and I could just hold the ball. First half had the WE with 11 players still, and me with more players out.
Then the casualties starting coming in. Hulk X90 showed why it's such a great robot, and Twonky held on to the ball through maybe 8 dice of elf attacks. 1-1 at full time and I had 4 rerolls vs 0 for the elves. But even then, outnumbered and low on training, the elves hit the ball more than once. They never gave up and made my life difficult. Still wasn't enough.
There were several moments of the game that were cool.... I'm happy to see the team having a go at another major (coming straight from an undefeated Lustrian run 2010).
Thanks for the game!”
