It was only some seriously greased Centaur hooves that denied Patator a hatrick of wins over me. Despite some early hitting exchanges where the Wasters came out on top, the sheer speed of movement combined with Break Tackle meant the Bulls were always a threat.
The Wasters had to play well to stay in it, starting the game without a claw/MB Warrior, Max Spleenripper being sent off in turn 1, and the Beast deciding to stay KO'd despite a babe throughout the 2nd half made things tricky. The CDs lined up with 2 Str5 players and 3 Str4... enough to terrify any team, but some lucky armour dice (5 rolls of 12 looking at the game stats) helped see off some of the shorties to the KO and BH box.
Drek has skilled up now to be MB/Claw, and I now have 4 warriors for the next match... phew!
