Pouring Rain and a lucky kick gave the rats an advantage on the kick-off as they swarmed the ball in the first half and came out with a score and unscathed. The wizard was a dud, but Askikk did his job with the claw and reduced the orc numbers enough that we could stop the equalizer (well, diving tackle didn't work but a trip in the endzone was enough).
In the second, the rats managed a 3 turn score to pull ahead 2-0 and then the rain stopped. Orcs suddenly got to work injuring the rats and managed to pull within 1, but it was a bit late and the rats held the charging horde off until the whistle had blown.
Thanks to DustBunny for the match, I'm feeling a bit like a dirty lucker tbh :)”
