“My thanks to Xeterog for a fun match. I had dreaded this one a bit going in (nobody LOVES Elfs vs. Dwarves, but...), especially since I have rarely had the pleasure of playing him much. He's really a nice, delightful gent to play.
I took the kick and booted the pick-up (snakes) with Lakalaka. From there on, it was nearly smooth sailing. Scored with a pass to Kory Rassmussen, the rookie lineman (who now loses his Red-shirt), kicked off, and scored a Blitz.
Soon after it was 2-0, and was nearly 3-0 by the end of the half. I gave it the best go at is I could in the 2nd to put up a clean sheet, but bodies were beginning to check out, and then I. Woolsey, the nation's leading Passer, was killed. The Dwarves scored on t5.
T6 came up for me, Lakalaka got his 6th point, and we flooded the middle with players. A throw came in from Sanchez to Ewaliko, and he scrambled to the sideline, waited a turn, and put in the 3-1 score.
Turn 8 came up a pitch invasion, and there was nothing left.

Karak University continues to show how much last year's graduates meant to the team and the freshmen have not yet jelled as a team at all.
1st half the Techies give up a quick score to the Warrielfs. At this point, coach Xeterog is confident of their chances going forward. Jon Deer was held out of the 1st drive and will be making his appearance of KAMU's 1st offensive drive of the game. Things are looking good--until a short kick and a blitz by Hawaii throws a huge wrench into the plans. Karak University makes a valiant attempt to stop the Elves from the Aloha state from scoring, but to little avail. Poor ball handling in this drive (failed pass) and the next (failed handoff) doomed Karak Univerity to a 2-0 half time deficit. Only a few bright spots. 1) their lone guard was now in the infirmary, 2) Karak receives the 2nd half kickoff and 3) it wasn't 3-0 somehow.
2nd half was a bit more normal, with the Dwarves of Karak scoring about mid-way through the half while sending more elves to the infirmary--including the hired Prince Moranion. But, the defense once again failed to stop the Warrielfs from scoring a 3rd TD. The fans were so upset with this showing that they invaded the pitch on the last kickoff..doing to the elves what Karak players had a hard time doing--stunning all but 2 players. Unfortunately in their Zeal, the fans also stampeded over several Karak players, including both runners who had set up deep to get the ball and possibly get a consolation completion.
