Houstovania entered the match with two goals. First, eliminate Kevin Williams, the freak Wight who is far and away the best player the Werehawks can field. Second, eliminate either Kevin Carter, or Matt Kalil, the star Golems that anchor Seattle.
Houstovania won the coin toss, and elected to receive the opening kick. Star Ghoul, Casey Pachall setup deep to return the kick.
Two plays into the game, after a quick glance at Seattle's defensive formation, led coach Antithesisoftime to call in the team wizard to rain fire upon a gathering of 4 Werehawks. And what a fireball it was, taking down one zombie, stunning another, stunning Kevin Williams, and injuring All Daouuuuuuuuu (who quickly regenerated once removed from the pitch)
Houstovania then swarmed around Kevin Williams, where Hack Enslash (a mercenary with a saw hired before the game) failed to do any real damage on a foul. That same play, however, DeAndre Clawkins showed off his newly acquired killer talents, and cleared one of the team goals, putting Matt Kalil out of the game.
From there, things devolved, and 2 plays later, DeAndre again leveled the boom, slamming Kevin Williams into the crowd and removing him from the game. With both goals complete, it was a simple task for Casey Pachall to continue his amazing rookie season, and rush into the endzone as the first half came to a close.
The second half saw Seattle receiving the kick. Unfortunately, by then they were too overpowered due to the loss of some significant stars. Houstovania's no-name defense was able to win in the battle of position, and eventually rookie Werewolf JaDeveon Howling came free with the ball and raced to the sideline. D. J. Braineater then delivered one final boot to Kevin Carter, leading to the days most significant injury, and sealing Houstovania's second win.
With this win, Houstovania finishes the first half of the season ranked second in their division behind their most hated rivals, the Indianapolis Crypts. The 2 TDs scored also pushed Houstovania into 3rd league-wide for scoring.
