“The Raiders came up against Undead, with the dubious title of Heroes. A bloodbath came upon us all.

Immediately Rodentile was blitzed and had his jaw broken by Saitama the Wight piling on, while 2 zombies were stunned and another ko'd. In reponse an angry Throtz (thrower) fouled the prone wight but could only stun and was sent off. Perhaps a regretful ploy as our numbers were dwindling quickly. Ikit had to be saved from death (briefly) by the apo after a big Mummy hit. Disturbingly Snuz the wrestle GR was then badly hurt and following that a linerat got badly hurt dodging! (Only 3 turns gone and we had 5 out). A ghoul had the ball. Somehow Talus the linerat stunned him near our end but the Undead got the ball over the line through a Wight and a linerat's collarbone was broken.

We had time to come back but the ko'd rat stayed out and we had only 6 players on. With a pitch invasion the Mummies were taken down. Saitama the Wight was killed by the Rat Ogre! Though the star regen'd. Rookie Zloos needed dodges past a ghoul to score but failed so we lost ball possession. At least Ritz managed to chase back, blitz the ghoul carrier and kill him for sure! What a hit. But 1-0 down at half-time and we had little hope.

We set up again with 6 players. The Undead did a brilliant short kick over the los in front of 2 zombies. But Hugruck clawed open the neck of one and Zloos retrieved the ball. Ritz cas'd a zomb while Zloos advanced but Headcrusher failed to break tackle and Zloos was exposed and tackled down. The ghoul got the ball. Headcrusher roared uselessly as he did a lot today but the Stormvermin tackled the ghoul back down, the ball bounced to Ritz and he managed to dodge away for a TD!

We now had 7 v 9 players. We kicked long and blitzed! The 2 Stormvermin and the GR charged forward. The ghoul picked up but the 2 Stormvermin again dodged around to hit and tackle him down. In fact Ritz did his 2nd Ghoul kill of the match. Incredible! Zloos also picked up. The Wights still retrieved the ball again. Around this time both our very experienced rat Ikit was finally killed and as was our Merc. Then as the chaos continued our Stormvermin got the ball loose once more. Zloos got up, picked up, dodged and raced to the endzone... Then gfi failed just next to it! So close to what would be a shock win considering the 1st half. The Undead gained the ball again but the Stormvermin did enough to make their potential winner too tough.

Both sides lost fans after the match due to the shock of the brutality shown. The remaining fans talked of a classic crazy match. For the players there were retirements, there were deaths saved by apo, there were regens and there were 4 definite deaths.
