“The game started badly with pitch invasion, Flynn stunned (rookie mistake, he never experienced that before) Joyner losing the ball on blitz. Only Hightower and Mayo did well, causing mayhem. Knights scored very early on defense.
Then Patriots marched down the field punching bodies left and right, scoring also in the process. The knights were seriously undermanned by the end of the 1st half. Hightower ended up causing 3 CAS, Mike Adams killed Bruce Matthews, Mayo did another one, and even Flynn caused a CAS.
Second half was against 7 knights so relatively easy score on defense. There were some passing shenanigans for farming at the end, Flynn tried to drive Mayo through some passing and catching drill, but success was mixed.
The game was won on the trenches by hard hitting. Power and toughness rather finesse.
