Solid defensive plays were made, but a tight cage with an ogre at the center (ST5 Thrower) holding the ball proved too difficult to break. When the dust settled at the end of the first half only 6 of the Skavens' would be returning to the pitch.

Though down in numbers, an offense was mounted, and the match nearly tied, until a failed GFI popped the ball loose and the Blackhawks recovered. The final bit of salt in the wound was the pitch clearing and the successful pass into the awaiting catcher in the endzone for the second touchdown.
