The more than impressive ma7 st6 block, mighty blow Oni eventually didn't cause any of the three casualties. But he scored! That happened when a successful blitz on the ballcarrier popped the ball free only to land in the Oni's hands! A few turns later he scored with the help of an assisting lightning bolt to clear the way.

The opposing team suffered two casualties, both self-inflicted after a failed dodge and a failed gfi... Nuffle can be a bastard...

Overtime had to produce a winner after 16 turns of an intense game ended in a 1-1 draw. The Dolphins lost the toin coss but could capitalize on the absence of opposing rerolls. After somewhat bizarre positioning on the opposition's side, we managed to get 2d on the ball (three gfi's were required though, which cost us our last reroll too), which was enough to pop it loose. But, just as in the first half, the ball landed in the hands of another team mate. Next turn a dodge was failed and the ball was free again. This time the elves picked it up in a tackle zone, but the ballcarrier failed a dodge. Luckily the ball landed in a relatively protected area. Banzai Attack couldn't really get much closer to the ball, but scored two ko's nevertheless. Next turn an elf catcher picked up the ball and ran away for the winning touchdown!
