“Septic Isle finish their second season with a typical draw against a plucky Skaven side never afraid to take risks. A first half grind saw the Nurglites go up 1-0, gain a rotter and lose a warror and have to make more dice rolls in the final turn than they should have had to. The second saw the Bloodwiser Babes return the Skaven to a man (rat) advantage but their drive almost came unstuck when a dodgy blitz cost them posession. Unfortunately Septic Isle couldn't keep hold of it and failed with 8 block dice to bring down the blodge gutter which meant an unlikey attempt at a 2-turner consign them to the draw.

Two new rotters and cash enough to replace the warrior leaves them fairly well placed to start their next conference campaign.”
