I think this win means the raiders will have a winning season record for the 1st time in their history...
1st half Zhar Naggarund defense held vs the sneaky Tamper bay Bombardiers, and even had a chance of scoring on turn 8 (long shot..agility 2 short pass, agility 2 catch, agility 2 handoff..after the Break tackle dodge against a Diving tackler....) Failed the pass.. tied 0-0 at half, but have at least one troll off the pitch (KO'd). All 3 bribes were used to keep the 2 secret weapons in play.
2nd half the Raiders played it 'safe' - ish by stalling till turn 8 to score. Star Running Back, Campbell, was never in danger of getting hit on his way to the lone TD of the game. This still left the Bombardiers with a chance at scoring with a thrown goblin, but a sudden rain storm along with a deepish kick doomed any chance at that.
