“NCBB season 14 game 8

rematch of last season's DeadEx Orange Bowl had opposite results, with the Terrors scoring late to win the game 2-1.

Neither team did especially well with the dice. in 86 1d6 rolls, 36 of them were 1 or 2 (20/45 for Karak, 16/42 for Clemson).

1st half starts with Flash failing to pick up the ball 3 turns in a row, allowing the Terrors to try and swarm the ball. Luckily for KAMU, Clemson was not having much better luck at all. Eventually, Flash gets the ball and tries to sprint away, but falls down at the goal line. Luck was finally with the Techies of Karak when Flash was able to knock down the marking ghoul then pick up the ball in the EZ for a 1-0 halftime lead. Oh, Sayow was hurt on the turn 8 kickoff garbage time.

2nd half was all Clemson all the half. Karak coach Xeterog was pleased that if they were going to score, that they did so relatively fast, giving KAMU a chance at the win. But a blitz, then several unfortunate rolls left the ball in the hands of Grinder again, and the Terrors scored again. There were 2 turns left, Long Legs was not able to make the 4+ dodge (with no rr) after catching a pass from Tim (in 2 TZ's).

Bam Bam gets the MVP and learns to Jump Up. (I really like that on slayers..but it was a 5/5 and both MV and AV were very tempting!!!)

The doctors are going to try to relieve the pressure on Sayow's head by poking some holes in it. Perhaps he'll return at some point. (fired him and didn't rehire yet, as I have one, maybe 2 games left this year, and no reason to waste a year of eligibility for that...)
