“The game has been a long time coming. All season long, the Children have been looking to prove that they are the definitive Dwarves on the Pitch and, after this game, they have done so.

The game began with an immediate brawl as the Children rushed to take down the many clawed players on the Goons, leaving the ball carrier open from early in the game as a result. The Goons managed to press on this opening by quickly taking hold of the ball and pushing the Children onto the Defensive. The mercenary wizard and Star Player Volfogg mad valiant attempts to reclaim the ball, but it ultimately resulted in the Goons scoring with a few minutes left until half time. The half ended uneventfully, with mercenary Zzharg Madeye banned for bringing firearms onto the pitch and ViktorVermis being taken out by a stray rock.

The Children began the second half on defense and behind 0 to 1, but they, will a little help from the audience, had managed to cripple a full third of the Goons' team. They managed to build on this lead by forcing the remaining Goons into a corner. From this position, Star Player Volfogg, with the help of Nono, managed to push the Goon ball carrier into the crowd, sending the ball flying straight into the arms of nearby Gainer Sanga, who ran straight for the Touchdown with all the speed his short legs could muster.

The game was tied with only minutes left on the clock. Only Star Player Volfogg and Nono could possibly reach the line before the game was over, but the Goons had been pulverized and the way for them was clear. Nono managed to knock the ball free of the remaining Goon Hobgoblin and Star Player successfully picked it up and ran it over the line with seconds to spare, winning the game.
