“A very good game although occasionally frustrating! Ran into double skulls on defense, when rerolling a hit on the MA10AG5 pest, which cost us position and allowed Gartch to stall out until T7. Still, 2 turns to score, but I pushed a linerat the wrong way for the evetual plan I ended up pursuing, and the extra go for it to cover the rat ogre cost me a reroll which I could have used when failing the go for it to score. D'oh.

2nd half and our drive is marred by a hattrick of casualties as the rat ogre took out 3 players in consecutive turns and killed a trollslayer. Things were looking grim but I scored anyway; play to win, right? It paid off, the 2nd defense goes much better and we end up stealing the ball as finally Gartch hits bad dice - the rat ogre double skulls - and the dwarves take the lead! However there's no stopping that one turning pest which rescues a draw for Gartch.”
