“The rain was pouring down as the two sides took the field. With no skilled ball carrier and 1 rr that was a problem for Grokozons. Lukas the beast tried to pick the ball and fumbled it. Speed Kills charged at him but tripped up! An Elf was ko'd but another Beast fumbled the wet ball. Speed Kills stunned Lukas on to the ball, it scattered out and Tyrion gladly took it up. A beast chased him and smashed him down too but yet again the Chaotics couldn't pick up. Tyrion got up, grabbed the ball again despite the pressure and dodged away for the defensive TD!
There was plenty of the half left but with more fumbles and some failed blocks the wet ball was left on the pitch and we stayed at 1-0. Felix needed apo help after being walloped by a Beastman.
Second half we made sure to score quick with Lothramir (rr'd pickup) passing the ball to Galad for our 2nd TD.
After catching a high kick it was left to the Chaos to make a slow advance. They upped their efforts with a glorious death for Othello from a heavy blow. Two line elves were sent off and eventually a Beastman got their consolation TD.
A workmanlike performance by the Elves was enough in the rain today.
Glory!
What have the chaos team done to merit this awful Pourring and mishievous weather!
That was like if all the daemons had decided to fall on the field exactly at the moment when Grokozons wanted to play properly Bloodbowl!
On the facts really nothing important to add to the excellent resume about garyt.
Certainly a bad choice to try to pickup ball on this slush! Yeah, that's it!
next matche they'll trye firstly to destroy opponent team when there are alves or some other agiles team.
About this side : blocking actions were not to bad finally but only a little bit to late: doing out when score is ever 0-2 is something like useless but elves were too agile to prevent them from performing this 1st td.
About the second, here is the higher mistake to my mind : trying (again) to pickup ball when the better thing would have been to protect ball in order only to fight and maybe perf eagalize td on second Hlf time.
Finally this honour td has come at end, when the matche was ever lost.
So that was a great experimentation matche, a good lesson!
C U Soon for a rematche I hope. CHEERS. ”
