“The Vikings got greedy for a big gang foul on Quinton Coples in turn 2. The ref couldn't miss that so IK was sent off and our positional advantage was lost. Bosh then smashed the ankle of both our newly drafted blitzers and things looked grim.
Robert Griffin III played his first game, and was far more prudent then the current throwers. He held the ball far back, even running into his own end zone near the end to avoid giving 0-1 in first half.
Going into 2nd we had 9 players (3 of them being ST2!), and feared the worst. But somehow the Knights couldn't hurt anything. Even the massive gang fouls on McCants produced nothing. Suddenly Kendricks could break free and do what he does best, knock the ball loose. RG was there, pass ahead, Davante caught it, just needed to dodge to a good run at 1-0....crash!
With my 1-turn threat still on the field the Knights opted to score with enough time to score back should I go for that. Then we had a riot, sending the clock ahead 1 turn! McCants did his thing, RG his, and Stephen Hill was he was meant to. 1-1 in a single turn and not enough time to even the score.
Well deserved MVP for McCants who played the whole game, he usually sits most of the time in reserves...”
