Too PO'd about Coach Xeterog's inept coaching, this game report has been postponed.
Ok, we are back. Fans are calling for a vote of non-confidence in Coach Xeterog after the teams lackluster performance against the Forty Miners.
1st half opens with a pitch invasion. 3 Zhar Naggarund players (all on the los) are stunned, while 4 or 5 Miners are stunned. The ball is kicked deep (corner of the EZ). D. Smith opens the game by killing (apoth worked) one of the blitzers. Later in the Drive, Ball Hog Campbell thinks he sees an opening and rushes too far forward. San Luis is able to knock the ball out then punt it deep. halftime 0-0 10 Raiders vs a full tam of Miners.
2nd half is even more frustrating for Coach Xeterog. The Forty Miners advance quickly up the pitch, but Campbell almost makes up for his 1st half blunder by knocking the ball loose then picking it up. He gets surrounded against the sideline, but feels confident he can break out of the 'trap'. Then Coach Xeterog shows his incompetence again, by telling one of the Blockers to dodge next to one of the Longbeards--of course he falls, leaving Campbell stranded on the sideline--fend doesn't help you when your back is against the crowd! From there, Roger Craig is able to secure the ball and score. Still there are 3 turns for Zhar Naggarund to score, but they are unable to properly execute a handoff as time expired.
no new skills.
yet again, Zhar Naggarund fails to win when giving up massive (600k+) inducements (team is about 50/50 in these games...still)
