A turn one Blitz! ended up putting the skinks ahead after a small scrum around the ball resulted in it popping free for Peach. After that, we got to work trying to knock over some of the softer looking rotters which resulted in a couple of casualties but didn't stop their opponents from scoring.
In the second half, the skinks managed to grab the ball somewhat easily and screen their way into the end-zone a second time. With almost a full squad vs. a somewhat depleted team they felt comfortable defending the score - which they did but at the expense of Vermillion who got in the way of a pestigor.
