“NWFL Season 15 game 2

Good bounce back game after not even showing up (effectively) last game.

1st half The Raiders started fast, killing Zulux on the 4th block of the game (and 1st knock down). Then the eagle eyed Ref caught Porki when he stunned the killer (either Brazil or Matthews..not sure which now) with a foul. From there, Zhar Naggarund work their way slowly down the pitch, only scoring on as time was running out in the half. The Skinkers were unable to even attempt a OTS try and the half ended with ZNR up 1-0.

2nd half the Crocksberg Skinkers were down to 9 players on the pitch, and soon, even more down, as the casualties and KO's began to mount. Still, they could have scored on their turn 6, but decided to stall a bit to prevent the Raiders from being able to score. To do so, the ball carrier went for it (with sprint) a couple times..and of course fell on his head and was carted off the pitch (badly hurt). The Raiders tried to protect the ball and get it in for another score, but Campbell failed to catch the pass or it was inaccurate..not sure which. 1st win of the season, now 1-0-1.

D.Smith gets a late casualty and learns Break Tackle.
