“HUBBA Season 14, TackleZone Division 1, round 5

After my round 4 game I really was expecting Nuffle to come and collect half of my team. I was so lucky that game. But then this game happened.

On record: I totally outplayed the_Sage. Obviously I'm the only coach able to stop those cheating, dodging, statted up and overpowered Chaos and their so-called-A-level coach. I've put them down, put them in their place and will look forward to meeting their decimated team again.

Of the record: Yeah so this was a total dicing, worse (or from my perspective: better!) than the game against Decadence Inc. I won the toss (see, it started right there!), received, got the ball, and at the end of the first turn fouled Mr. Heads because my Dirty Players don't tolerate competition. RIP and a new recruit (I keep firing those guys, I collect the coolest ones now). After that it kept going downhill for the Mutants. They rolled poorly, I rolled great. Not wasting my time with KO's we went straight for kills & maims. Nuffle was rewarding my most horrible 1D blocks while only giving the_Sage casualties on zombie linefodder (including the new recruit Mr. Heads!!

I had cards too, of course I got three good ones (Custard Pie, Witch' Brew and Distract) and they would have been awesome (compared to just good) if I wouldn't have screwed them up (Custard Pie on beastman marking my BC which I could have blitzed free instead of on Professor Chaos who was Tentacling 3 of my important players, forgot to use Witch's Brew in time). Distract hit about 7 players but no 1s were rolled but it must have caused some planning issues for the_Sage.

Somewhere in half 2 I even stalled for a turn where I just should have scored, but the dice were so much in my favour I ended up scoring 3 times (should have set up more aggressively at the end of the first half because a riot turned back the clock!).

All in all:
*I'm a filthy lucker.
*Mutants once again don't get a perfect season.
*Mutants lost their last Blodger and will now NOT retire because of me and instead go all Kill 'n Maim.
*Nuffle's bill is still growing.
*I won't sleep well until Nuffle AND the_Sage will come to collect what's due.
