“It was a great match against a tremendous and unrelenting opponent. Although the chaos dwarves knocked the ball to the turf during the skaven opening drive it required a rat looking around too much to see where another hit may be coming from and thus dropping what should have been an easy pickup to gives the chaos dwarves the opportunity to eventually score. Thus ended the first half, with enough replacement players available on all sides to start the second half with a full complement on each side.

The fans were going wild, really, quite wild. They invaded the pitch and the second half started with four players from each side to stunned to do anything but lie there during the first turns. The speedy rats took advantage of this, and despite being bracketed Bridge the Gutter Runner escaped from two players, knocked a hobgoblin head over heels, and picked up the resulting loose ball for a quick score to tie the match. With the game tied – and the fans kept in their seats – the armor and hitting of the chaos dwarves started to prove its worth as rat after rat was carried to the sidelines injured or unconscious. By the end of the second half the score stood 2 to 1 but a quick snap for the Rodential Health drive gave them a chance for a one turn touchdown. Retainer the Gutter Runner was a touch faster than most, and the quick snap gave him all the distance he needed to succeed. The chaos dwarves were cleared away and the hobgoblins failed the trip up the speedy rat ... However, the 10-yard line proved to be too big of an obstacle and Retainer tripped and crashed to the ground just short of the end zone, ending the match.
